I remember first joining this site and discovering the BBS back in the 8th grade when I was a wee 13 years old. I joined the NGBBS right after I had been perma-banned from the (now reformed) albinoblacksheep forums. I remember spending hours and hours after school reading and posting on tons of different topics in the General forum. I continued this emotional connection with the community up until the end of highschool. I loved coming back to the BBS to tell the NG masses about crazy incidents at school, or to ask for help during a personal crisis. By the time I reached the 12th grade, I had slowly drifted from you guys due to constant browsing of 4chan, and a girlfriend to keep me occupied.

I am now a sophomore in college, yet I still hold an emotional attachment to the NG community and how it truly made me who I am today, for better or for worse.
